Fire at the wholesale Bagree market in Kolkata guts down entire stock

A major fire broke out at Kolkata's Bagri Market. It is said to be the largest wholesale market in India. Around 30 fire engines have been battling for over 24 hours to bring the fire under control. The fire which broke out around am at night started from the ground floor and rapidly spread to the upper floors due to a huge stock of inflammable items. No casualties have been reported.
