Gaziantep, Turkiye. 18 October 2023. A pro-Palestine demonstration is held on the Gaziantep University campus, in southern Turkiye. Students held the Palestinian flag along with the Turkish one, while calling for a boycott of Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, and Starbucks because of their support for Israel. The demo was organised by students of the Faculty of Teology, Islamic history and Arts of the university, with Professor Mehmet Akbas, delivering a speech in support of Palestinians at the event
