MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 17, 2018) Rear Adm. Gene Black, commander of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, meets with Midshipmen in the wardroom of the guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) during a shipboard visit at sea. Black spoke with Midshipmen about future changes in the training path for surface warfare officers. Dunham is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
