The attractive but evil-smelling voodoo lily, an excellent Christmas present!
Smelling of decomposing flesh when it flowers in spring, I like to give a tuber of this plant to unsuspecting friends as a gift for Christmas, advising them to treat as a house-plant and leave in kitchen or lounge for a few months until it flowers in early spring. I tell them it smells delicious, just like jasmine!
