Brick Wall. Aylsham, Norfolk. Older, weather eroded bricks, show stone and pebble impurities that were contained within locally sourced clay. Frost, irregular contraction and expansion, with rainfall and water thrown up from from passing motor vehicles have precipitated the breaking up of the fired bricks. Bricks higher up, are of a more recent placement.
