For morethan forty years he has been one of the wardens ofSt. Pauls Church, of which he is an active and lib-eral supporter, and by his financial skill the churchhas twice been relieved from the burden of embar-rassing debt. Mrs. Nancy Duncombe, widow of Nathaniel Dun-combe, died June 10, 1846, at the age of seventy-one,and was buried in St- Pauls Church-yard, East Ches-ter.
