Naval Base San Diego (August 9, 2018) - Ensign Arthur Metra, from the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73), commands a simulated ship during Naval Surface Force, Pacific Fleet’s (SURFPAC) annual Surface Line Week ship handling competition. Surface Line Week is a longstanding tradition to showcase professional and athletic skills while enhancing camaraderie and team building among the surface force.
