People who were forced to abandon their homes in the San Pedro Sula Valley due to floods in the aftermath of Hurricane Eta take refuge in a makeshift camp underneath an underpass in area of Calpules. At least one death, 379 homes destroyed and more than 2,000 people evacuated in Honduras following Hurricane Eta that hit Nicaragua as a Category 4 and passed slowly over Honduras as a tropical storm. Its aftermath brought enormous amounts of rainfall that caused deadly flooding and mudslides throughout Central America.
