15th May 2016. Shibusawa Memorial Museum, Kita-Ku, Tokyo, Japan. Shibusawa Memorial Museum special exhibition "Eiichi Shibusawa and Shimizu Corporation" finishes. Eiichi Shibusawa ( 1840 – 1931) is Japanese industrialist. He contributed development of Japanese economy. He was adviser of Shimizu Corporation about 30 years. This exhibition introduces its relationship. Main building of Shibusawa Memorial Museum (built in 1997), Bankouro ( built in 1917), Seienbunko ( built in 1925) are all built by Shimizu Corporation and now they are open to public. Bankoro is western style tea room used for accommodation. Seienbunko is reinforced concrete building used for archive and accommodation.
