He isa junior member of the American Society of. J. C. Schaeffler Schaeffler. He married Mildred A. Dolliver,March 19, 1903. Schimmel, John, Jr. (, 96), studiedat Columbia University, 1896-97, receivingthe degree of civil engineer in the latteryear; and has since been employed in thegeneral office of the Baltimore, Chesapeake,& Atlantic Railway Co., Baltimore, Md.;later, with the same company, at Salisbury,Md.; and at present as assistant supervisorNo. 8 with the Pennsylvania Railroad, Ty-rone, Pa. His graduating thesis, preparedjointly with Messrs. M. Shepard and RudolphBruckner, on A Comparative Test of theCalorific Power of Wilkinson CarburettedWater-Gas and Lowe Carburetted Water-Gas, with the Junker Calorimeter, waspublished in the Stevens Indicator, is a member of the Tau Beta Pi frater-nity.
