Manipulated night shot of Tower Bridge, London, taken from the South Bank of the River Thames. This iconic London site is a combined Bascule and suspension bridge with a central section that can be raised to let large ships through. Normally, the sections are lowered and this provides road access across the bridge. The two towers, 213 feet high, house the engines and mechanism to raise the sections. It was built between 1886 and 1894 and was designed by Sir Horace Jones. The length is 800 feet. One of the great sites of London. This photograph has been manipulated in Photoshop to create a dramatic image.
