A lion´s head sabre for officers of the cavalry. Nickel-plated pipe-back blade with a rich trophy etching, the obverse marked "Eisenhauer". Heavy brass knuckle-bow hilt in lavish relief work, the obverse languet with applied enamelled guard star and reverse with monogram "AM". On the grip-strap an inset medallion with a depiction of Victory, the pommel shaped like a lion´s head with inset glass eyes.
