Silent anti-war vigil by Pax Christi as guests arrive for Tony Blair talk on faith and globalisation at Westminster Cathedral

Protesters from Pax Christi, Christian CND and other groups held a silent vigil as guests turned up for a talk by former Prime Minister Tony Blair, who recently became a Catholic, on "faith and globalisation" at the Catholic Westminster Cathedral in London. Around 500 other anti-war protesters also turned up to a noisy protest organised by 'Stop The War' against the war in Iraq, bringing musical instruments to make a loud noise and create a "wall of sound" in a symbolic attempt to drown out his talk.
