SAGAMI WAN, Japan (Jan. 24, 2023) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Joshua Nesbit, from Charlotte, North Carolina, handles the rigid inflatable boat (RIB) as the coxswain, transferring passengers from Howard to Jogashima Island. Howard is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
