A tiger cant bear to look BLACKPOOL ZOO, ENGLAND, APPROPRIATE IMAGES of animals across the UK looking despairing as England lost out to Spain in the Euros final have been released.  Images show lions, tigers and even a gorilla covering their eyes as most England fans did the moment that 86th minute goal went in for Spain.  These relatably disappointed images were captured by photographer Gary Cox (53) from Manchester, England. Gary captured the pained English wildlife on his Canon 80D camera with Sigma 150-600mm lens at Flamingo Land, Blackpool Zoo and Chester Zoo, England. “I haven’t seen this too often so when an animal does cover up his face I have to be ready to capture it. It samples an effective image when the animal does this,” said Gary. “They do tend to do this fairly frequently but managing to get the shot is the difficult thing. “Any shot that is against the norm is great capture, especially when it can look quite amusing and almost human-like. “I think my favourite here is the flamingo land tiger. I think this is the first of these types of captures and the clarity was great. “Animals showing human-like behaviour always captures the imagination. I love portraits but the other shots which are a little different really draw the eye. “It is definitely about timing and a lot of patience. Be ready for anything and have your camera focused just in case.  “Animals are very unpredictable so you don't know what to expect.” ENDS
