He received an hon-orable discharge July 22, 1865, when he returned to his homein Clinton County. He was married November 16, 1865, toHannah A. Bate, a daughter of Josiah Bate, of this county. Tothem were born eight children—Margaret M., James P., AndrewJ. (died, aged nineteen months), John E., Emma E., WinfieldM. (deceased), Grizella J. and Jessie B. Mr. Robison has residedon his present farm in Warren Township since his marriage. Hishome farm contains 160 acres of choice land, beside which heowns forty acres in Owen Township. In politics Mr. Robison af-filiates with the Republican party. He is a member of the Grand. ^?AM-ti^ WARREN TOWNSHIF. 055 Army of the Republic belonging to Mill Spring Post. Mrs. JRob-isoii is a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. David Sheets, second son of Philip Sheets, was born in Au-gusta County, Virginia, August 30, 1828. He was reared at hisbirthplace till eighteen years of age when he came with hisparents to Clinton County. He received such education as couldbe obtained in the subscription schools of this county, and livedwith his parents on their frontier farm till his marriage. He wasmarried to Miss Nancy Thompson October 17, 1850, she being anative of Illinois, in which State her parents,
