A late 19th Century illustration of Saint Paul preaching Christianity in Greece. According to the New Testament book Acts of the Apostles, Paul was sent on three separate missions to spread the word of Jesus to the rest of the world. He made two missionary journeys to Greece bringing Christianity to its people; from there it spread quickly to all the other western European countries of the time.
