Cpl. Chad V. D'Ambrogi, a rescue swimmer with Marine Transport Squadron One was one of the members of the crew that rescued three missing children from the Croatan National Forest, Monday, Feb. 18. D'Ambrogi rappelled out the aircraft to the ground where he and another crew member were able to place all three children in a search and rescue basket and hoist them up to the cabin of the aircraft.
