The best previous reoord by a year- ling pacer was the 2:281 of Kollo, a son of the developed trotter Jerome Eddy, 2:161. bat 2:22} by a yearling is a long ways ahead of 2:23}, and the daughter of Sidney has gone into winter quarters with the yearling pacing ohampion- ship. Of the sire of these wonderful youngsters, Bidney, it is not necessary to write at length, as the readers of our paper are familiar with his blood lines and what he has done in the way of Biriog paoers and trotters.
