Three of the six decorated 'Pilgrims' Graves' at the Old Church of St Michael, Llansteffan, Carmarthenshire, Wales, UK. Probably C12th/13th, members of the Norman family who lived in the motte & bailey castle at nearby Trefenty Farm, but tradition says these are the graves of destitute & starving pilgrims who met a tragic end. Two hogback stones decorated with crosses running along the ridge. Four flat slabs, two with female figures, one full length the other on the top half with two animals at her head & a lattice pattern below (centre grave in photo). A third figure may be a knight, a fourth possibly a child. Most of the graves have rounded head & foot stones carved with cable decoration & crosses.
