Adult. —'Se^.A, neck and sides of the face olive green ; below the hind neck a broad collar of mauve-grey ; mantle, wings and tail bright grass-green, the wing-coverts and angle of the wing washed with vinaceous-pink; wing-quills and most of the larger coverts black, narrowly edged with pale yellow; lateral tail feathers with the apical third distinctly paler green; below ashy olive-green mottled with bright yellow on the abdomen, the flank.
