Light festival 2019 in Lucerne Switzerland (LiLu Lichtfestival)
Between 10 and 20 January 2019, Lucerne was being transformed into a place of scintillating encounters. Bringing light and warmth to the city in winter, Lucerne’s very first Lilu Festival of Light presented Swiss and international artists showcasing light in all its fascinating facets. On a winter’s walk through Lucerne between the hours of 6 and 10 ,I discovered the luminous artworks installed in squares, tourist attractions and alleys in the Old Town and dotted around the bay. The glittering highlight of the Lilu is the Genesis light show in the Hofkirche (Church of St. Leodegar).
