Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Aponte serves aboard Ike as a deck seaman and is responsible for ship preservation, maintenance and deck evolutions. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
