In1820 a robber stole parts of it, which were afterwardsfound in a field. The shrine bears the mark of frequent restora-tions, but the major part of it is undoubtedly finethirteenth-century work. There are many largejewels in it, almost all being rough are also some fine antique cameos representingstatues of Victory and other subjects.
