20th October 1910 - Launch of the British White Star liner Olympic, sister ship of the Titanic. RMS Olympic was the lead ship of the White Star Line's trio of Olympic-class liners. She was built by Harland and Wolff of Belfast, Ireland using an Arrol Gantry. She ended her days by being scrapped being dismantled at Jarrow, England, with the hull scrapped at Inverkeithing, Scotland
