Shoppers in Liverpool city centre were treated to a surprise performance with actors dressed as models, prison guards and police officers strutting their stuff down a catwalk. MD Productions, who were previous finalists on Britain’s Got Talent, also performed for shoppers. Detective Chief Superintendent Paul Richardson, head of Merseyside Police’s Matrix unit, said: “As part of our continuing fight against serious and organised crime and the desire to protect vulnerable people we have recognised the role that women and girls can play in criminal groups, sometimes as the main offender - but more often than not as the victim.
