All varieties in the test died except Manapal, Marion and Homestead. Manapal looked the best of the three varieties. It also has field immunity to gray leaf spot and 4 races of leafmold. Most fruits range from to 7 ounces (the size preferred by ship- pers), smooth at both ends and slightly larger around than from stem to blossom end, but this feature is strongly influenced by the growing conditions.
