Standard List of Everblootning Tea Roses That the Roses described on this page and the following page are mentioned only briefly must not be taken to mean that any of them lack in merit. When a Rose proves that it is not well adapted to amateur culture we discard it from our list. We offer so many Roses, however, that it is impossible in the limits of a book of this size to describe them all as fully as we would like. We have grouped together these Roses because they are so widely known that extended descriptions seem unnecessary. All of these Roses are good and many of them possessed of the highest merit. Our friends will make no mistake in ordering freely from this list. Our sixty years' study of methods of Rose-growing has enabled us to produce the strongest and most vigorous own-root plants to be had anywhere in this country. The first firm to successfully grow Roses for the mail trade, we have improved the quality of our stock from year to year, and today it is absolutely unequaled in every good point. While those who can afford to do so will find two-year-old Roses highly desirable, liberal planting of one-year-old plants of Dingee quality will give surprising results; the only great difference between the one and two-year-old plants is in the comparative yield of flowers. Prices of all Roses named in this and page following, 10 cts. each, any 6 for 50 cts., $1 for 15, postpaid; two-year-old plants at 30 cts. each, $3 per doz., purchaser's selection; our selec- tion, 25 cts. each, $ per doz., by express. Try a dozen of these Roses, our selection. The result will astonish you. Abbe Roustan. Creamy white, shaded with rosy blush. Adrienne Christophele. A shade of apricot, citron and fawn. Alphonse Karr. Bright rose, medium size and full. American Banner. White, striped bright red; pretty. Archduchesse Isabella. Perfectly double; white, shaded rosy carmine. Archduc Joseph. Col
