Purple flowers and foliage of Red Dead-Nettle / Lamium purpureum. Common arable and hedgerow weed, once used as a medicinal plant in herbal remedies.


These specimens look rather tatty, being flecked with white spots. That could be a mildew type disease or perhaps the result of chemicals sprayed in the field.
