Complete Land Rover Defender bodies leave body-in-white for painting
Body-in-white is the traditional name for the department where bodies are built. Body components and sub assemblies are placed on a skid to take them for painting. Defenders do not have a monocoque (one-piece) body like modern cars so this would not illustrate typical vehicle production.
