The strong winds, the rain and sunshine will soon rust and destroy machinery standing in the open air. It causes one great pain to see the wasteful- ness of many Manitol^i, farmers in allowing valuable implements to weather and decay in the open air. The farmer's wagons, carriage, and all articles used for farm and garden should be safely stored away in dry buildings prepared for the purpose. These need not be expensive, but ought at least to keep out snow and rain. Habits of order and thrift are thus cultivated by having "a place for everything and everything in its own ;.
