Farther on alongBroadway and north ofLong Acre square thereare a great number ofapartment houses, some handsome churches, the 22d RegimentArmory, and the buildings of Columbia University at 116th of the university the most striking landmark is Trinitycemetery. Broadway extends to the end of Manhattan, and thenruns through Kingsbridge, skirting the western side of Van Cortlandt.
