It should be thoroughly mixed with the vaseline immediately beforeusing, in order that the hea^^^ bismuth may not settle down to the bottom ofthe jar and be injected in too marked a concentration, the contents of theupper portion of the jar containing little or no bismuth. 3rd. A good glass syringe should be used that will deliver a definiteamount of the mixture, so that it will be possible to determine the amountused. 4th.
