Treaimeni.—A very great variety of drugs were employed,often uselessly. Mercury given in the early stage until its con-stitutional effects were obtained (Case I.), and followed by largedoses of the iodide of potassium, seemed to do good. Leechesapplied to the temples greatly relieved the headache. Morphiahypodermically was of great use temporarilv, but full doseswere often necessary.
