Pleasant, N. J.; d. June i, 1899, at Sunnyside, N. J.;m. Feb. 13, 1834, John Spangenberg, (son of Daniel andMary Spangenberg), b. Jan. 11, 1808; d. June 27, lived many years in Clinton, N. J., setting up house-. WILLIAM HEXRY WARXE WARNE GENEALOGY 461 keeping in a log cabin. Mr. Spangenberg was a cabinetmaker in Clinton for a long time, but later returned to farmlife. In 1899, in their comfortable farm home at Sunnyside,the aged couple, with their man} descendants around themon the joyous occasion, celebrated the 65th anniversary oftheir marriage. Mrs. Spangenberg at this time gave the following Adviceto Young Wives: Dont buy anything you cannot pay hunt bargains. Dont be extravagant. Dont get any-thing you do not need just because it is cheap. If an angryword is spoken in haste, dont answer back. Dont start thefirst quarrel. Dont nag.
