Chambers, T. , and G. G. Jarmain, Pat. 13,005, May 27, 1914. The liquor is heated to about 200° F. (93° C),and then subjected to centrifugal action toseparate grease and sand. The clear liquorobtained is used repeatedly for scouring untU,through accumulation of alkali salts, it is con-centrated to a density unsuitable for scouringpurposes.
