The Hague Netherlands Parliament buildings. Het Torentje - The Little Tower - office of the Dutch Prime Minister.

The Hague's Binnenhof. The Ministry of General Affairs is on the right, with on the centre a hexagonal tower, named The Torentje, which is the office of the Prime Minister. The building on the left is the Mauritshuis Museum. Het Torentje (Dutch: "The Little Tower"), located at the Binnenhof in The Hague next to the Mauritshuis museum, has been the official office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands since 1982. This small octagonal building at the Hofvijver is first mentioned in chronicles in 1354 and probably dates from the first half of the 14th century. At the edge of the Parliament Buildings was originally a summer gazebo for Counts of Holland. The Prime Minister is at work as all his lights are on. It's the evening of the day after the general elections of 2017.
