This image shows the slip way for the lower ferry, which is just unloading the last vehicle before taking on those wishing to cross to Dartmouth. A fishing boat is moored just off the slipway. The station at Kingswear is the end point for steam trains of the Dartmouth Steam Railway. This picturesque village was used as a location for the film version of ‘The French Lieutenant’s Woman’.
