The ram walks •tiff; the bag will be swollen and sore to handle; he will not eat much, and lays down most of the time to relieve the testicles as much as possible. If the inflammation is allowed to run on the bag and tesfcles will become blackened and mortified; it will pass up the cords of the testicles into the belly and soon kill the ram. Treatment—As soon as the trouble is noticed, separate him from the rest of the flock; keep him in a quiet, coo! place and poultice the bag with a hot pouUice of half linseed meal and bran change the poultice every three hours, and each time while chang- ing the poultice bathe the bag with hot vinegar for a while before applying the next poultice.
