ROTA, Spain (Nov. 21, 2014) – Sailors assigned to USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) handle the lines as they prepare to depart Naval Station Rota to begin their patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations, Nov. 21. Donald Cook, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on a routine patrol conducting naval operations with allies and partners in the 6th Fleet area of operations in order to advance security and stability in Europe.
