They are constructed ofconci-ete, plain and reinfoix-ed, the roof having beendesigned to form a jjoition of Ihe suggested esplanadefor the foreslxnc of the liailjour. At the inlet end of the tanks a hrick building iserected in which is installed the screening and detritus-removal plant, compi-ising coarse sci-eens, mechanicallyojjerated fine screens, and a bucket diedge.
