Thescliool has 15 students enrolled,and 3,000 volumes in the library. It has sentforth 83 graduates, of whom the earliest living are Alice Bloomer, of Hiawatha, Kas., andJennie Sherman, who went as a missionary to India, and who graduated in 1888. Southwest Kansas was established at VVinfield, in 1886, under theauspices of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Chester A. Place, A. M., B. D., is Presi-dent. The school has 130 students in attendance, and volumes in the students have been graduated
