The ancient stone Clapper Bridge at Postbridge, Dartmoor, England


An ancient granite clapper bridge over the East Dart river, at Postbridge, Dartmoor National Park, Devon, England. This clapper bridge was built in the 13th centuary for pack horses to carry tin to Tavistock. It is a listed structure. The later road bridge is to the right, the Clapper bridge to the left.
