The denuded slopes of Glen Falloch, Loch near loch lomond are sparsely populated with Scots pines and vivid autumn moorland

The wide open expanse of Glen Falloch above Loch Lomond near Crianlarich turns to a riot of autumn colour from mid September, evn the blood red rowan berries contribute to the autumn palette. Glen Falloch was denuded of trees many years previously but a few of the better twisted Scots pine remain and make a stunning addition to the moorlnd landscape.
