ARTEMISIA I^ACTIFI^ORA Unlike the other varieties, which are grown for their foliage, this com-paratively new introduction from China is a most effective flowering plant,with erect stems 3J to i^ feet high, clothed with elegantly-cut dark greenfoliage and terminated by panicles of Hawthorn-scented creamy-whiteSpirsea-like light and graceful flowers. It is at its best from the latter partof August to the end of September
