A jogger runs alongside the National Covid Memorial Wall, on the South Bank of the Thames, opposite the Houses of Parliament. It provides a reminder just how tough the last year has been for many. The memorial continues to evolve - Originally one heart was drawn for each of the 150,000 people who died in the UK during the pandemic. Members of the public continue to add both hearts and personal messages as the memorial becomes a fixture of London life.
