An estimated 100 people gathered outside the Swedish Embassy in Copenhagen on Friday for a mock memorial to show solidarity over an event that never happened. Last week US president Donald Trump said, "Look at what happened last night in Sweden," during a speech condemning Muslim immigration to western countries. Baffled Swedes argued that the evening in question was uneventful. To highlight the mistake Danish artist Artpusher organised a mock vigil. He said, ”Following the terrible attack on our sister country Sweden, reported by US resident Trump, the Nordic countries must stand united"

Baffled Swedes argued that the evening in question was uneventful and now Danish artist Artpusher has organised an ironic vigil to highlight the mistake. He said, ”Following the terrible attack on our sister country Sweden, reported by US president Trump, the Nordic countries must stand United."
