PHILIPPINE SEA (March 28, 2019) Chief Boatswain’s Mate Philip Vogtman teaches how to tie a knot as part of a tiger cruise aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Tiger cruises are an opportunity for guests to ride a Navy ship and learn what life is like for Navy Sailors at sea. Green Bay, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, is operating in the region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a lethal ready-response force for any type of contingency.
