Historic Ardwyck and Ancoats Dispensary building in East Manchester which served the cotton industry workers from the local mills.

The Ardwyck and Ancoates Dispensary was a medical centre in the midst of the cotton mills which flourished in Wast Manchester. The building was left to degenerate as the cotton industry declined and eventually became derelict with plans to demolish it and build modern accommodation. A campaign to save the building and have it restored as a historic reminder of the cotton industry, work was initiated but it would appear to have come to a standstill.
