Litmus test for base, neutral and acid
Litmus test for: base (Windex containing ammonia) which appears blue; neutral (rubbing alcohol) which appears yellow; and acid (vinegar) which appears red. Litmus paper is made of water-soluble dyes extracted from lichens and is used to test the pH or the acidity of various materials and substances.
